In 1968 Superstudio created the series of Histograms, the physical space measured by a grid that draws elementary shapes without scale and conceptually prefigures the Supersurface of the planet. Shortly afterwards, the Internet was born and today a large i-Mesh tapestry redesigns a new geography by erasing borders, in a web of interconnections for continuous flows of energy, goods and people.
