Migliore+Servetto is a Milan-based studio that works globally. Ico Migliore and Mara Servetto work with an international team of architects and designers to create projects on various scales for institutions and companies – from site-specific installations to interior design, from museums to retail, from urban design to corporate identity. It has won numerous prestigious international awards, including 3 Compassi d'Oro, 13 Red Dot Design Awards, 3 FX International Interior Design Awards and 2 German Design Awards.
Migliore+Servetto is behind several major cultural destinations in Italy and Europe, such as the Egyptian Museum in Turin, the Miramare Museum in Trieste, the Chopin Museum in Warsaw, the ADI Design Museum in Milan. It has also designed the interiors of the new headquarters of the Generali Group’s social foundation, The Human Safety Net, in Piazza San Marco in Venice.
Drawing on the studio’s constant and deep research on materials, over the years Ico Migliore has developed a personal poetic, which has led him to use the i-Mesh yarn to create a series of tapestries that play on lights and shadows. These one-off pieces have been exhibited in solo exhibitions in Busan and Seoul, as well as in group exhibitions. His sketches and drawings have been published in texts such as "Sketches, Maps, Sceneries" (2021), Electa, and in several international magazines such as Domus, Interni, Frame, Interiors (Korea).
Ico Migliore is Professor at the Politecnico di Milano and Chair Professor at Dongseo University in Busan (South Korea), while Mara Servetto is Visiting Professor at Joshibi University in Tokyo.
